The committee is a elected body of math's students whose job it is to ensure the smooth running of MathSoc.The Elections
are held at the end of each university year for the next university year.

The following is a list of Committee member's jobs and a short description on what each job entails:-

President
To lead Mathsoc into the 21st century. Main role is to chair meetings and delegate work to committee members. Also to be
the representative of Kings' Maths Department in the union and in doing so to guard and protect the interest of about 500+
maths students.

Secretary
To arrange meetings of the committee and to kept minutes of these meetings. Also correspond with outside parties as required.

Treasurer
Must be scrupulously honest and reliable. To kept spending in check and workout prices of events. Also to aid the president
in representing the math's department in the union.

I.T. Officer
To design and produce promotional material for Mathsoc events. Also to help make and maintain the new mathsoc web site.
Thus will require a good knowledge of computers.

Vice-President (NON ELECTED)
A member from last years committee whose role is purely advisory to the new committee.
